The metaverse is a new digital space that allows those in it to communicate and move using three-dimensional avatars or digital representations.
The global metaverse industry is projected to be valued at $829.95 billion in 2028, from $47.69bn in 2020, according to Emergen Research.
NFTs are digital avatars of artworks and collectibles. Ownership of these digital assets is recorded on a blockchain, which is a digital ledger.
